Everflow Female Center Tees Push-to-Connect x Female National Pipe Thread (FNPT) Center Tee is used to connect copper and CPVC pipes. It is a Lead free DZR brass construction for durability and reliability. The center tee allows for the fitting to be inserted onto the pipe and then using the disconnect tool slipped back onto the other end of the pipe. This allows for up to a 2 inch section of the pipe to be removed and then repaired without having to add additional pipe. This tee is perfect for removing a section of pipe and adding in an expansion tank for your water heater. The FNPT Tee is threaded so you can screw in the Expansion tank after installing the tee to the line. Visually check the internal components. Ensure the pipe is cut squarely and is free from burs and scratches. Push the pipe firmly into the fitting. Pull back on the pipe to ensure the grab ring engages correctly. Ensure that the system is depressurized. Place the disassembly tool against the collar and push forward. Press the disassembly tool against the release collar and then pull the pipe releasing it from the joint.
