Specifications to take into account: The first thing to do before installing your doorstop is to prepare the area well for installation. Have a tape measure, a damp cloth and a dry cloth at hand and start with the following steps: STEP 1 | Using the tape measure, measure the distance from the door knob or handle to calculate the distance needed for installation. STEP 2 | With that measurement, place the tape measure on the floor and mark the point where you are going to place the stopper. STEP 3 | Clean the placement point well. For wooden floors, with a damp cloth and then dry well. For terrazzo floors, clean with a cloth dampened in alcohol and dry well. Once you have cleaned the area, prepare the stop for placement by following the steps below: STEP 4 | Make sure that at the chosen point the stop can make the full rotation before gluing the adhesive or screwing it on in the case of screw stops. STEP 5 | When it is at the exact point, it is ready for fastening. STEP 6 | For better fixation on models with adhesive, heat it beforehand with the help of a hair dryer. STEP 7 | For screw fastening, drill the hole and place the dowel. Then, attach the screw to the base of the stop and screw it into the dowel. STEP 8 | Finally, screw the stopper into the base and you have your stopper with retainer ready to use whenever you want. STEP 9 | If you want to change the design, our stopper with retainer can also be used as a normal stopper, just remove the intermediate part. And following these steps, we already have the stopper ready to protect our home from the blows of the doors in a simple and elegant way.
