Have a pencil, a damp cloth and a dry cloth at hand and start with the following steps: STEP 1 : Clean the installation site thoroughly. Clean with a cloth dampened in water or alcohol (on wooden walls only water). STEP 2 | With the help of a dry cloth, dry the area well. STEP 3 | Measure the distance from the door knob or handle to the wall to calculate the installation height. Using this measurement, mark the point with a pencil. Once you have cleaned the area, prepare the top for placement by following the steps below: STEP 4 | For Adhesive Bonding Heat the adhesive area with the help of a hair dryer to activate and enhance its viscosity. STEP 5 | Carefully remove the protective plastic from the adhesive area. Remember NOT TO TOUCH the adhesive. The 3M VHB adhesive pad is very effective, but is for single use only. STEP 6 | Place the stopper on the previously marked spot and press firmly on the adhesive base for at least 60 seconds. Avoid moving it once adhered. To finalize and achieve an optimal fixation, finish with these last steps: STEP 7 | DO NOT handle or tap the stop during the first 24 hours after installation. STEP 8 | The adhesive reaches its maximum functionality after 48 hours. STEP 9 | For screw fastening, drill the hole and place the dowel. Then, attach the screw to the base of the stop and screw onto the dowel. And following these steps, we already have the stopper ready to protect our home from the blows of the doors in a simple and elegant way.
