Jenolite Copper Repair Epoxy Putty is a two component epoxy stick, used to rebuild and repair copper items in a matter of minutes. Commonly used to repair leaking hot water lines, pipes, tanks and other plumbing problems. It is suitable for use on multiple surfaces including brass, copper, bronze and other non ferrous metals. JENOLITE Copper Epoxy Putty is quick acting, making it ideal to repair split and holed pipes - including pressurised systems. Suitable for emergency repairs it can be used on interior or exterior pipes/plumbing. Resistant to water, chemicals, and temperature extremes, it leaves a long lasting and durable finish. VOC and solvent free, it's non-flammable and releases no noxious fumes. It won't shrink or pull away during extremes of temperature. The consistency (like modelling clay) eliminates drips and runs, facilitates adhesion to the substrate, and allows the material to be shaped as needed before curing begins. After 60 minutes the application can be drilled, sawed, sanded, and painted. Household hot water pipes and vessels can be restored to service after 1 hour. Cured Copper Epoxy Stick has the same appearance and texture of metal. Typical use: PREPARATION: Before applying, roughen and clean the area to be repaired. FOR BEST RESULTS: Use damp fingers for easier mixing application, and smooth appearance of the cured compound. Remove excess material before hardening begins. It contains no VOCs or solvents.
