I found that using circular anti clockwise motions worked best. Just don't hold it in one spot and it works beautifully." It was very easy to maintain the exterior corners of the steps but I was unable to grind the inside of the stress/crack relief grooves. All in all, this diamond wheel easily attached to my 4” grinder and preformed better then I had anticipated Very impressed with the diamond wheel. I thought I would need to buy more to finish the patio but there is plenty of material remaining on the wheel. It took approximately ~8 hours to grind the paint off of the patio with measurements of 11’ X 16’. The end results is a smoother concrete finish then the “broom” finish of the unpainted surfaces. Do not install a diamond dish/cup wheel that is too loose or too tight on the flange. 3. Tighten only with the tool provided with the machine. 4. Be sure to hold the concrete grinding wheel properly to prevent slipping, but do not use excessive force. Never use a hammer. 5. Keep flanges and threads clean without burrs and rust. 6.
