The brush will be approximately ten percent oversized, but will easily conform and fit into the bore size diameter due to the flexibility of the flex honing tool stems. Pro-Graad TwistFlex Cylinder Honing & Deburring Tools produce a consistent cross-hatching pattern which is ideal to seat piston rings and retain oil for lubrication in combustion chambers. The Pro-Graad TwistFlex Cylinder Honing & Deburring Tool can be run with hand tools, drill press, or CNC equipment. Apply a lubricant liberally to the TwistFlex Cylinder Honing & Deburring Tool such as a honing tool lubricant, 10-30 weight motor oil, or transmission fluid prior to using honing tool brush. Max RPM is 600, however optimum range is 300-500 RPM. Tip: If producing cross-hatching pattern, less is best - maximum of two passes should be done with brush within 20-45 seconds of total run time, averaging between 10-55 strokes.
