When tapping, appropriate lubricating oil is good for cutting or cooling, making the cutting easier and faster, improving the smoothness and dimensional accuracy, and helping to extend the service life. The following lubricants are recommended: steel - cutting oil, machine oil; pig iron - dry oil; aluminum - kerosene; stainless steel - mixed kerosene; hard plastic - dry oil. Be sure to select the appropriate cutting oil for complex tapping process and apply anti-rust oil for maintenance after use. The round dies can process, correct or clean external threads.
